The president of Yemen has announced that the long standing fighting in the north has ended. Woo hoo! Now I can go back! Just kidding of course. I was talking with a friend of mine that I met in Yemen last night. I asked Dana if she missed Yemen. She said, “I did for a little while, but then I got over it. No really, I’m really over it…” I don’t think I’m there yet, but I can see that day approaching.<\/p>\n

There is now a new press release (here<\/a>) that says a couple of hours after the president made his declaration, the rebels seized a village where there has been sporadic fighting.
